This is particularly evident in the hydraulic shock-absorbing buffer which greatly mitigates recoil and enhances overall accuracy, as well as a cold-hammer forged barrel with a remarkably long service life. In addition, many of the APC’s controls are reminiscent of the AR-15 platform, such as the ambidextrous safety selector, the trigger assembly, and its ability to accept AR-type magazines.
